Abstract :

The studied section is located in the 65 km southwestern of Mashhad,road of Mashhad-Torbat e haideri.Planktonic Foraminifera studies led to identification of 7 genus,18 species and 1 biozone.Based on occurrence of the index species of Foraminifera and their biozonation,the age of Islam-Qaleh section is middle Lutetian-lower Rupelian.
