Abstract :
Abderaz Formation from sedimentary units of kopet-dagh Basin is located in north-east Iran in upper Cretaceous.It is composed gray shales with 3 to 4 bands of chlk limestones for determination and studied of this formation based on palynomorphic ( especially? dinocycts) of 44 samples picked up,104 slides produced. Also 40 genus and 60 spacies of dinocycts distinguished High? proportion? of? light to dark SOM reflecting condition of low oxygen in most upper parts of this formation . Overall , accurancy of palynomorphs and high rate of sedimentation in middle part is more than other parts of formation . vising of? Tayson diagram interpreted most samples are in V facies and distal shelf environment. Based on Spiniferites and Dinogymnium with many number of dinocycts reflected to be in open marine.
