Abstract :
In this discourse the specifications of seismo tectonic of Mashhad_Neishabour area have been Considered. In this case, we research the active fault which is one of the main parts of this discourse. By using Of the seismography network of ferdowsi University of Mashhad, We Understand that the mention area has not seen any destructive earthquake yet. by studying Of Seismography Network of ferdowsi University of Mashhad the mechanism of the earthquake with Ms=5, which was happened in 1985/8/16 has computationed. The mechanism of this earthquake is strike-slip.
