Abstract :

The exploration bornabad area is located in east-north iran and 28 kilometers northwest of Bardaskan city. Bornabad region is located in the middle part of Taknar structural zone that its a dislocate block. Taknar zone is movable that from view rock formation and also, geological time have basic difference as compared with its around. Based on the exploration research, performed by Chinese experts, the region was founded suitable place for reserves of Copper (Cu) and lead-zinc (Pb-Zn). With due attention to existence of taknar mine with massive sulfide type mineralization (VMS) polymetal Cu-Zn-Au-Ag-Pb to massive, layered and stockwork in host rock green schist, rhyolitic tuff, metarhyolite- metarhyodacite was accomplished geochemical researches with scale 1:25000 for new anomalies in similar another points in the formation. So exploration studies in this region were performed on a 40km2 area and 140 stream sediment and heavy mineral samples taken. Stream sediment samples were analyzed for 53 elements in ICP-MS method at ACME lab in Canada. After censoring the chemical analysis data and neutralizing the upstream rock effects for all these samples, uni-variant and multi-variant statistical processing such as the calculation of correlation coefficients, cluster analysis, principal components analysis and so on were performed on these data and their results have been interpreted. As a result of foregoing analysis, in this study mining areas related to two groups of elements identified in the study area include first group element (Mn ,Au
