Abstract :
The Taknar (Bornaward) plutonic complex located in north of central Iran microcontinent inside Inlier Taknar. The chronicle of this igneous landform in geological history of Iran was always has been imprecise and variety of thoughts about its history was suggested. The lithologies of this complex are include a discontinues series of Gabbro to Granite that are emplaced into the Taknar formation. Emplacement of this complex was occurred during episodes of arc magmatism, accompany with doleritic to microdioritic dilatory dike sets, the effects of high tectonic activities in this region are caused to intensive weathering and erosion of rocks in this complex. But in new lithotectonic subdivisions and geochronological studies, this region assumed as one part of Eastern Iran Magmatic Assemblage (EIMA). There is no an accomplished comprehensive project that was done with scope on continental arc magmatism at eastern Iran. There is a unanimous consensus on subduction related origin because of its calcalkaline petrology and index ore deposits. In this research we present petrology analysis of Taknar complex with respect to petrography and geochemical data. The agreement that is exist between plotted geotectonic index diagrams and normalized rare earth elements and scarce earth elements show geochemistry index of continental arc granitoides The agreement that is exist between plotted geotectonic index diagrams and normalized rare earth elements and scarce earth elements show geochemistry index of continental arc granitoides. Based on tectonomagmatic relationships and petrologic evidences it is possible to contemplate Taknar complex as a plutonic core of eastern Iran arcs which is reached to the surface during intense anticlockwise rotation of Lut block, a new theory can be offered for generation of metallic deposits in this region with respect to the origin of Taknar complex and mineralization in continental arcs.
