Abstract :
This area is a small part of the Sabzevar structural zone , which is confined between Semnan and khorasan provinces.
The oldest sedimentary rockes in this region are Late Jurasic and the between those existence horizon of calc- alcalane rhyoithic - rhyodacitc lavas. Are coming into existence the first alcaline basaltic-andesitic basalt lavas accompaining diabasic dikes have been beside Early Cretaceous limestone. Furthermore have demonsterated association of too much volume calc alcaline rhyodacitc- dacitc and andesitic lavas with rhyodacitc- quartslatitic dikes and abundance pinkish cream plagic limestone in Late Cretaceous. These rockes covered with outcrop of Paleocene rockes.
In Cretaceous final steps and beginning of Cenozoic, Laramid orogeny in face of pressure phase has caused closing, wrinkling and emerging this area from marine. Absence of intrusive parts to pertain mature ophiolitic assemblage, presence volcanic and sedimentary rockes to concern in upper part of these ophiolitic succession, on the other part attendance pressure and strike slipe faults with important function resembling Duruneh fault indication old suture zone and closing prompt this part of duruneh-kashmar trough.
