He was born in 1895.he was graduated from Elmieh high school in Tehran, and then left the country for France in 1933. In 1938 after graduation from the Paris mining university, which very well known in its kind, returned to his motherland. He was the best within his classmates all the time. He saw The military service then started his career in governmental posts as: the mining engineer at Shemshak coal mine, overseeing at privet mines located in Alborz domain, the head of Shemshak coal mine, the supervisor of coal mines company Ltd., the managing director of Queshm & Hormozgan, mines member at the board of directors & then managing director of the whole Metal Melting & Mines company ltd.

In parallel with the technical & official businesses he began to teach geology in Tehran University – Science College.

Many of the ones who have familiarity with khadem's activities believe that he has played a key role in new Iran mining industry. His great tireless & unflagging enthusiasm in government sector & his advantageous administrations in  exploring /prospecting private mines especially Mooteh gold mine & Sarcheshmeh copper mine, etc (with the assistance of the late Engineer .Ali Entezam), all have made his name to be everlasting. In late 1960 with the passing the law authorized the establishment of Geological survey, he got the duty to do so, so that he could get the job done in a short while choosing talent young people educated in geosciences absorbing the alliance of a few at the UN experts & edifying trained specialist in different field of geosciences .in not a very long period of time, geological maps with 1:100000 and 1:250000 scale, had been published. these maps were at high quality in the world on this line, for example prospecting & exploration of metallic & nonmetallic minerals ,detailed studies /analyses had been done with the aid at aerial & ground geophysics & geochemistry teams & as a result a number at countries are reserves were identified & reports made ready . This process widely influenced the economy & infrastructures at the country.

The geological engineering section of geological survey made a huge success in making the importance at the organization being characterized by the public through its noteworthy extraordinary services. In the central part of the organization – various equipped laboratories had been created such as the laboratories at: analysis at ore & spectrogaphy, hydrology, mineralogy geochemistry, petrology, paleontology & also the semi-industrial site at beneficiation/concentrations of ores these laboratories are not also considered & utilized as a centre for the field teams' needs of geological survey but a place to assist private sector miners.

In cartography unit, geological maps had been issued with world-class quality. the library of the organization, which is the most relevant reference in  geosciences, was also opened .An amazing museum with fossils, rocks & minerals as well as a little & dazzling exhibition of mining tools & equipment from ancient Iran were provided. At last, the global geological survey developed & became the centre of attention, thus in the early 1974, the international commission of Geological maps (CGMW) held a meeting in Paris & commissioned the Iranian geological survey to map & assemble the geological maps at middle-east. Though highly skilled & back experienced organizations of the countries at this region were present to the colleagues and comrades of Khadem over the first fourteen years of the beginning of geological survey ,would never forget that it was no-one but him who founded the organization, directed the young engineers while took a short time advantage of the UN's specialists presence he hardly tried & did his best for development & exaltation of the organization & truly loved it up to his retirement in sep.1974. He counted on the aptitude & faculty of Iranian youths & believed that they can make the country needless to foreigners resisting on his belief to the last breath. Oh yes, he did everything in his strength, faced pains smiled patiently at judgments & stayed calm.

On the occasion of his & a number of his colleagues retirement a friendly    gathering was held by staff in library of the organization in sep.l974, Mr. Alipoor dedicated him  a keepsake on behalf of himself & the others. In the end Khadem gave an apt praiseworthy speech which is recorded on a tape. Now, we'd like to draw your attention to a part of his words:

 "Holding such ceremonies & receiving gifts are the remuneration for the past efforts of ours, and personally prefer it to any kind of gift which I was supposed to be received from any person in any position.  I keep this gift safe & regard it as a costly object which the sign fourteen years of service & true loving from you all. I hope you clear the path through a better future with the assistance of the young force being employed & taken the control so that we might hear favorable news about progresses in the organization day by day. Due to our share in growth of this newly planted tree, then we'll be delighted to see it grown & fruitful as soon as possible. To cut a long word short, I want to say that I did whatever I could …"

He kept his interest in technical & scientific research & advances at the organization until his death in may 1999.
