Considering the current equipment, the lab is able to respond the client at below requirements: 

1. Measuring of the crust's main oxides: SiO2, P2O5, TiO2, K2O, Na2O, MgO, CaO, Fe2O3, Al2O3, SO3.
2. Determination of loss on ignition
3. Determination of grade or titration in ore samples: lime/chalk, dolomite & iron ores, chrome, manganese & barium samples…
4. Qualitative analysis & analyze of trace elements with XRF.
5. Analyze of trace elements for natural waters with ICP –AES.
6. Determination of water various factors include: hardness. Alkalinity .TDS, PH, cations & anions involved in water
7. Determination of trace elements for soil & rock samples using atomic absorption system (in the immediate future)
8. Grinding & softening of ore samples up to 200 mesh in rock crushing unit equipped with crusher splitter systems & ball mills & ….

The chemistry lab accepts  student & the ones who  are really interested  in this line it has training courses for students ,representatives of industries & mining – related factories & chemistry teachers.

This section with regard to its research & service goals in accordance with the needs of geologist & other miners at the region is always looking for finding new resources with the latest methods, solving errors & increasing the number at new equipment.
