Abstract :

Jajarm Bauxite deposit is located at 15 Km North east, jajarm North west of Khorasan province. The deposit is on Elika Dolomite formation mostly on it's karstifed surface. the lithology of cap rock is Shemshak Shale and sandstone formation. X-Ray diffraction pattern indicate that diaspor is most important bauxite mineral composition, while Shamosite, Hematite, Kaolinite ,lilite, Anatas are the most impurities also Rutil ,calcit ,Quart, Boehmite and Gibbsite are present as minor impurities. The most important texture of jajarm bauxite consist of Ooidic, Pisoidic, Spastoidic, Rework and plastic deformation. Geochemical analysis by XRF and AAS indicate that Al and Ti are stable Mg,K,Si and Na are mobile. during geneses of bauxite but Jajarmu bauxite is actually a iron-rich clayey bauxite. In a, upward but, Ni, Ba, am ا vertical section trace element such as, Zr, Nb, Co and Th increase upward but Cu, Ni, ا Ba,and Sr represent a reverse rate. The chemical composition of jajarm diasporic has higher amount of , Fe2o3,Sio2and Ti02 in Comparison with other bauxite around the world. Mineralogical and chemical composition of jajarm deposites bauxite have caused some technological problems in processing and crushing with and therefore have Led excessive solvining bauxite. Jajarm bauxite with some production of Aluminum, can be used in the production of Cement, Refractories, Abrrasivies, and Chemicals.
