Abstract :

Covering an area about 260 km2 locating on 59 46, 59 32 east longitudes and 36 13 63, 36 00 northern longitudes, granitoid mass in southern Mashhad is in Khorasan province. It is suggested that they are upper Triassic and lower Jurassic.
This can be considered as a suture zone between Binalood and Kopehdagh and consisting of three phases as follows:
1. Granite and granodiorite (gr1) locating are Robate Khakestary Gheshlagh-Kaljoghoki. Which can be categorized as two different granite, light and dark color which the first one is younger than the second one. Younger pegmatite invaded the kind of above mentioned mass.
2. Monzogranite (gr2) having muscovite and biotite and pegmatite locating between Kalaj-Dehgheybi.
3. Monzogranite (gr3) having big restite (two micas) on Khajehmorad which suggested being melting of older unite.
Granular and porphyritic texture and including Sphen, Apatite and Zircon is the major characteristics of there rocks.
Muscovite and biotite monzogrgranites have granular-Phophyritic texture and unlike the gr1 units. Muscovite is plenty in these kinds of units.
Garnet, Sphen, Apatite and Zircon are also abundant in them.
In the gr3 type granite as the other two types, granular porphyritice and myrmekitic texture can be seen and out of the mentioned minerals, tourmaline is also plenty in them.
All of the three types granite (gr1, gr2, and gr3) can be classified as Calcalkalite types and subdivided to high potassic and peralominitic. All of them are fractioned from some source, subsolvus and originated in a temperature rating from 700 to 750°C. They are suggested to be made on an atmosphere which water pressure must have been between 2-4 Kbar.
Tectonomagmatic view, all of the three types must be S-type synoriginating granite and post origeny phases.
