Abstract :
For tectonic studies a region in 70th Km in NE of Ardakan has been choosen. First studies began to discover region by satellite image processing and preparing TM satellite images that led to discovering main shape of region. The understood from the satellite that the shape of the region was a sinus curve and there was 45 faults and 19 folding and 6 diapir structures.
Field studies cleared that Kalut region was set of Cenozoic sediments that showed intercontinent sedimentary basin. This studies led to discovering 17 fault structures in the region that conforms the alained region in satellite images. Movement of the faults with NW-SE strike are Thrust and the fault with NE-SW strike have Normal movement and also the faults with E-W strike have right lateral movement also discovered 8 anticlines and 6 diapirs and some minor diaper that except of diapers the others influence to the surface of the earth by fault planes.
Gathering field studies together have improved that Kalut region is placed under a general right lateral shear that is come in to being between two faults of Deh-shir in west and Anar in east in the reason of internal block movement.
